Free music player for Android
Your music.
On your device.
MPTree plays the music files already on your phone. No subscription, no internet needed. It is free, and nothing you listen to ever leaves your device.
Latest version Beta, released here first. Works on Android 7.0 and newer.
How it looks
The song list and your playlists, straight from the app.
What it does
-
Works offline
Everything plays straight off your phone, so it keeps working in flight mode, underground, or anywhere with no signal.
-
Playlists that fill themselves
Favourites, Recently Played, Most Played and Last Added update as you listen. You can build your own too.
-
Equaliser and crossfade
Shape the sound to your taste, fade one track into the next, and speed songs up or slow them down.
-
Cut a track
Trim a song down to the part you actually want and save it as a new file. The original stays untouched.
-
Controls everywhere
Skip and pause from your lock screen, the notification shade, or a widget on your home screen.
-
Backups
Pack your playlists, artwork and music into one file, then restore the lot on a new phone.
